What is personal information?

Personal Information is any information that is identifiable with you. This information may include but is not limited to your name, mailing address, phone numbers, gender, email address, identification numbers, etc. Personal Information, however, does not include your name, business title or business address and business telephone number in your capacity as an employee of an organization.

How does the Kashi Site collect personal information from you?

One of the primary purposes for which we collect your Personal Information is to respond to product complaints, product nutritional information and recipe requests, and product injury claims with respect to injuries suffered by you as a result of our products. We often collect your Personal Information to fulfil promotional/contest inquiries and send prizes to winners of contests operated by us and by third parties on our behalf. To whom will Kashi provide your personal information?

What type of security does Kashi provide?

The importance of security for all personal information collected through the website is of utmost concern to us. We have taken technical, contractual, administrative and physical security steps to protect the personal information collected from you on the Kashi websites with a level of security appropriate to the sensitivity of the personal information collected. For example, if and when you provide credit card information, we use secure socket layer (SSL) encryption to protect it. These security measures are periodically reviewed. However, there are some things that users can do to help protect the security of this personal information as well. For instance, each user should never give out their password.
